We take a limited number of paid placements from businesses that make sense next to our content. Here is what we offer and how to get a price.
What we offer
- Guest posts. A new article on a damp, mould, property or home topic, written by you or by us, published on the site with a link to yours.
- Link placements. A link added to one of our existing guides, in a spot where it genuinely fits the surrounding text.
- Sponsorship and display. If you want your brand on a calculator or a section of the site rather than a single article, ask and we will put something together.
About the site
Mould News covers damp and mould in UK homes: what causes it, how to deal with it, what removal costs, and what landlords are required to do under Awaab's Law. The site carries over 200 guides and six calculators, all UK-focused and kept under review. Current traffic figures are available on request.
Who it suits
Placements work best for businesses our readers might actually use. That includes damp and mould specialists, cleaning and restoration firms, builders and roofers, heating, ventilation and insulation companies, surveyors, landlord and lettings services, and legal or insurance services that touch housing. Broader home and property topics are considered case by case.
What we turn away
No gambling, adult content, vaping or CBD, cryptocurrency, essay writing or payday lending, and nothing making health claims we cannot stand behind. Guest posts have to read well: spun or machine-mangled copy gets rejected, and if your article needs links to ten different sites it is not a guest post and the answer is no.
Standards
Paid or not, everything published here has to clear the same bar as the rest of the site: accurate, UK-specific, and useful to the reader even if they never click the link. We edit guest posts for clarity and house style, and we will tell you before publishing if anything material changes. See how we write this site.
Rates
- Guest post: $50 (USD). Your article, or written by us from your brief, with a link to your site.
- Link placement: $40 (USD). Your link added to an existing guide that fits.
Sponsorship and display are priced individually, so ask. We invoice by PayPal, and placements go live once payment has cleared. You get the live URL by email.
Booking
Email advertise@mouldnews.co.uk with your website, what you are after (guest post, link placement or something else), and the page or anchor you have in mind if you have one. We usually reply within two working days.
